Snake bites are getting old

dog was bitten on hind foot. It looks like he is going to make it but touch and go for 5 days. Yes he had had shots and had been bitten in he early career.

2nd dog saved if bitten neck back. First one was a rat terrier about 20 years ago. Did not eat for 5 days and very little water after 3 days.

Glad to hear he's going to be O.K.
Someone once told me if you lay a rope on the ground a snake will not cross it. Probably B.S. or an old wives tale.

I understand, tigger.
I live on a creek with a lot of snakes, coyotes, skunks, nutria, bobcats, armadillos, coons and everything else that crawls.

All my dogs have been bitten.
It's a nasty lesson they learn.

Bitten on the foot, he will be fine. Not enough soft tissue there.
Adios,

Glad you buddy is doing better.

It seems to be a very bad year for snakes. I'm almost afraid of Quail season.
