Yes i will call the vet Monday a.m.

anyway so tonight Let my 2 yr old lab and say nearly 3 month old pup outback for a little as i got things inside the house. I come out back and shes in the dump position ya know. I hollar for her and she wines and limps over. High carry on her back left leg. Check her pad out figured she had something stuck. Nada, she wines and bites with rotated outward. Can straighten fine doesn't seem to bother her being touched anywhere, Knee ankle foot all seem fine. Rarley wines since shes been resting the past few hours. Shes very very sensitive too. wines when i snatch her up alot, so if shes in the slighted pain she will squeal. No swelling and its been 4 plus hrs since her mysterious injury. Shes very high high strung. Called a breeder and his advice was no swelling and movement sounds like a strain be fine in a few days. Any advice at what i'm looking at for injuries?

Talked to the vet, had a quick exam. Shes now trying to run on 3 legs and walking on 3 but useing the bad one to push off. Been stretching it with great response. It appears she pulled a dog hammy... trying to keep up with the big boy of the house. Thanks guys!!! Vet was right.. just pulled it

Have an X-ray on the knee. Mine pup stepped into a hole while running with another lab and tore her acl. She'd put weight on it but very little and when she'd sit her leg would flare out. Had to have surgery to fix, but it was worth it. Can't tell a difference now, went in for her 6 month check up on it and no arthritis in it at all and no arthritis around the titanium plate In her knee. She had the surgery when she was 4 months old and was 100% in 8 weeks. The key to it is catching it early so the pup doesnt start relying on the other legs. The vet says when this happens the other knee will go as well.
