your dog breed wish list

What breed of dog have you never owned but would like to one day?

Boykin spaniel for me.

GSP for duck and dove.

I am Brittany through and through.

I'd like a lab. I know everyone has one but I would like a hardcore retriever.

Never seen any other breed and thought Wow I might like one of those?

I'd like to have a Weimar.

Probably pick a blue one.

I keep looking at the Bracco Italiano breed.

Those are some big pooches

I'm done but I'd get one of these suckers if I were still in the market. I've never seen one fail to back.

I was about to post the exact same thing.

Drahthaar and Jagdterrier are on the top of my list right now.

I would also like to have a French Brittany and a Springer Spaniel at some point.

I honestly don't have a desire to have anything but Brittany's & English Pointers from here on out. And I am going to mainly stick with the French Brittany line. I like their range, size & temperament.

Finally pull the trigger and got mine last april- Boykin spaniel. Boy are we have fun.

No real list here just pound puppy's for me no telling what there mixed with. But I have a Britt and will always have one.

If I get another dog after these that I have are gone, it will probably be a Guardian Style dog. Anatolian (Kangal), Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, etc. I need a dog with an off switch... I let my 2 cross pointers keep running the yard yesterday from 7am to dark. They never sat down except to get treats from my wife. Running hard the whole time. Maybe a Lab or Boykin if I can find a legit/not iffy place to hunt.

To be fair they pointed 30+ doves and one constantly backs the other. Wish I had the time to train them up better. They have pointed on scent, but again.. dove.

Australian Sheperd... Run 20 miles with you or lay onthe couch and watch TV with the same enthusiasm..... Make them a tracker and have a hunting buddy that'll hang out with you without a leash and not chase after everything it sees....
