Looking for a good bird retrieval trainer for my 6month old Lab, looking for someone in the Central Texas area. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

He carries insurance on all his dogs that are in training as do I.. That's very important!!

Did the person you purchased your dog from have it retrieving and swimming? The more info your trainer has is always helpful.

I highly recommend Glenda Mitchell, Early, TX (Kanati Kennels). I don't know if she has any openings right now. I can get you her contact info.

You also might want to come check out Lonesome Dove Hunting Retriever Club. We have monthly training days and host our fall Hunt Test in September in Comanche, TX.
