In search of dove lease near San marcos

Looking for a season lease early this year, for my fiancé and I and preferably with guest so I can take my dad when available.

San Marcos has a pretty good public dove field off of Skull rd, NB also has some decent public fields. You're in a good area for alot of public options.

Hunted both for the past 3 years with no birds to speak of after the opener. They are to high pressure.

I’ve never seen any birds on the fields south of New Braunfels.

I too have hunted the NB and Scull Rd fields...I have had spotty success at the NB fields...they are all very high pressure the first couple of weeks but I always left with at least 6 birds and a feeling of time well spent...

The upside to the Scull Rd location is that the San Marcos River is near by and you can take a quick dip to cool off from the heat!
