Good luck finding one in Wood County. Thankful to own land east of Quitman because the "leases" around here don't open much, if ever.

This is true. I have been on lease in WC since 97. We used to never have openings. Now we usually have one or two a year. You have to be recommended by a person on lease and you can’t recommend anyone until you have been on lease for 5 years. In all my years we have only had one problem in that time. He is no longer on the lease.

Good luck.

I can't imagine finding any leases there. All land is owned by folks that recreate or use it for themselves. Most from DFW. Better off contacting folks direct from the appraisal district data.

Last bump, looks like I'll be fishing again this Fall/Winter, oh well I had rather clean 25 Crappie than one Deer or Hog, LOL, good luck this season to all you guys hunting and be safe!!!
