2 Exclusive Waterfowl Membership Slots Available (El Campo, Sealy) - 08/02/19 02:45 PM

Due to a recent withdrawal of membership and recent acquisition of property, we are proud to announce that we have two slots available for our waterfowl club membership. This is a small group, friend and family lease with property in the locations of El Campo and Sealy. Assuming both of these slots are filled, this will put the total number of members at 11. The time period of the lease begins on opening day of dove season until the end of conservation season. Each member is allowed to hunt saturday, sunday, tuesday and wednesday. The week days will vary during the holidays based on the majority decision of the group. We typically do not have to do any assigning to each property due to the low number of members, it will be up to each member to decide where they would like to hunt. Each property will be supplied with blinds and decoys; just show up and hunt, it is that simple. I personally manage all of these properties where everything is done to maximize success in the field; the framework is all here and it is up to the migration from there. Each member is allowed guest but it must be approved earlier in the week to ensure blind room for other members. All possible members will go through a short interview process with some of the existing members to go over the rules and a few other things. These properties are extremely valuable to us and our relationship with the owners/farmers and respect to their properties is at the utmost of concern including gun safety. The club membership price is $2,000 per member for the entire season. Below will be a description of each property including some past statistics.

El Campo (490 Acres +/-)
180+ Acres of Conventional rice
Roost/Rest Lake (40+ Acres) in close proximity
Teal Season will consist of a rice cut that is 1.5+ acres
Teal Season 2018-2019 had an average of 5.8 birds per person per hunt
Big Duck will consist of a rice flat of 22 acres
Big Duck will have a 9 acre flat flooded after split at bottom of property
2018-2019 Season took roughly 420 birds between only 8 members at the time during a very rough season for most in the surrounding areas as it has been said.
Great success rate with specklebellys and large amounts of sandhill cranes roosting in area

Sealy (450 Acres +/-)
200+ Acres of conventional rice
Refuge nearby with many outfits in surrounding area holding and moving birds within the area
Great history of successful hunting in the past. First year on property, I do not have exact statistics
Teal season will consist of a rice cut that is 1.5+ acres & a 13 acre moist soil unit
Big duck will consist of a rice flat of 33+ acres

What would you say the percentage of use is per location? I am in College Station and odds are I would be more interested in the Sealy property due to proximity.

Thanks

Give me a call and I can give you a quick run down of how things have worked in the past as per usage. If that is alright? You will always be guaranteed a spot for assigned hunting days.

Thanks,
