Santa Anna Deer Lease

I am wondering if anyone hunts near Santa Anna, TX area and have any feedback on what the deer quality and numbers are for that area. I am looking at a 250 acre lease around Cr 210 south of Santa Anna this weekend and have never hunted this area. Supposedly has a creek running through it and a decent amount of turkey and deer with the occasional exotic or two but just wanted others input as well. Thanks

Can be good or bad. Depends on the neighbors. We owned a place close to there & our deer population was lower than most of the county. Had lots of turkey & hogs. Dove hunting was good to great most of the time. Had a couple of aoudads on camera,but that was all we ever saw as far as exotics.

I looked at and made an offer on some land in that area off county road 206. The owner had game cam pics with healthy deer numbers along with turkey, hogs, and bobcat. Didn't mention any exotics. Ended up getting some land north east of Santa Anna closer to the Brown County line.
