Looking For A One Person Lease - 02/10/19 06:41 PM

Looking for a one person lease in or near Wood or Mason county's. I will consider all other areas except south and west Texas. Want to stay from Central to East Texas. Not looking to join a group, looking for a place for myself mainly, my wife might hunt three or four times. We are quiet, mature, respectful middle aged people. PM is fastest, thanks in advanced.
Will take a bow only place as well.
Again not wanting to join a group, thanks.

Doesn't look like you are having much luck. I was sort of thinking the same thing and figured for one guy it would have to be a small amount of land which means east Texas might be better. I don't know if 20 acres or 40 acres in a wooded area and a feeder or two would work. Maybe if it backed into a fairly good area.

20 to 40 acres in east Texas is plenty of land for 1 man to hunt. You may not be able to be too choosy on what you expect to see, but to put a little meat in the freezer and have a shot at a legal buck, no problem ! Most of us don't actually see and cover more than 5 to 10 acres from our stands anyway, so yeah, go for it!

Because it's so late looking in Wood or surrounding only. Looking for a one person place for a retired quiet mature fellow.
