Wanted/Seeking Year Round Lease

Morning THF and Happy New Year!

Do you know of any landowners, lease managers, ranchers with land for lease?

Our group of six guys, including two veterans, ages ranging from 42 to 77, have been hunting together in Stephens County, Texas for the last 10+ years. The 930 acres we have hunted has sold and the new owner has plans for his land that may not include our lease contract. A perfect lease would include any combination of the following…900+ acres within 2.5-hour drive of Dallas-Fort Worth area, electric to hookup 4 fifth wheel campers, water source nearby, whitetail deer and turkey. Our group will work with owner/rancher/farmer to build a long-term relationship to improve wildlife quality. Our current lease is fed year-round with 11 blind/feeder stands. Our group travels from Mansfield, Weatherford and Flower Mound. Our current budget for the group is $12k but willing to consider any leads thrown our way. if you offer to pay $1500 for a lead that leads to lease contract signing you will probably get several offers

That is an interesting point. Almost six hundred people have viewed the thread and when someone finally "chimes in", they suggest offering money as a "finders fee" to any interested parties. Has anyone else had any luck with paying people to be lead into a relationship with a land owner? Is that how most land owners work? Through a third party? Just curious as it's been so long since our group has had to look for a new contract. Our group is open to pay for a lead that "pays off"!
