Annual Lease Available

We are going to lease our recently high fenced 540 acre property near Winters, Tx. The lease is for this coming season and will include whitetail, turkey, dove, quail, duck, and unlimited hogs and coyotes. Provided are 3 blinds and 3 protein/ corn feeders for deer and turkey and numerous quail feeders scattered throughout the property. There are 5 stock tanks, several springs, and 1 mile of Elm Creek running through the property which has water year round from the springs. Two stock tanks have good fishing for an evening fish fry. Winters Lake is also just across the highway and has good fishing. This property will be closely managed with only native whitetail being harvested this season. There will be ear-tagged breeder does that are not to be taken. There are also a few exotics being stocked on the property and they will be excluded from hunting. There is abundant turkey, quail, and dove. The property has a mix of heavily covered pasture along the creek, medium cover pasture, two wheat fields, two CRP fields, and native grasslands. Five hundred acres of the property has been recently high fenced with 5 miles of 8’ perimeter fenceline with an adjoining 40 acres in low fence. The property is cross fenced with 5 strand bobwire and there will be a few cattle and bison on the property. Overnight camping or bring your RV. There is water and electricity near the house for $5/night. There are hotels within 1 hour or less in Ballinger, Coleman, Abilene, and San Angelo. For those interested in flying into Winters, I have a hangar available should you need to park your plane overnight and I can pick you up. We are family friendly and will allow your wife or high school age or less children to fill your tags. Please understand that this is not a drive around and drink, party time place and we would prefer mature, conservation minded hunters. The cost will be $11,000 for up to four hunters. This turkey season is now booked so lease would be available after May. Price is also reduced to $10000 for the annual lease. This week, we are also adding bathroom and shower facilities as well as septic to the two RV spots and will be providing a 40' shipping container for secure storage during the year.
