Big Hunting Ranches close to the Metro mess?

I noticed some large , high fenced ranches driving back from Menard. IDK how you cut it, it took me a solid 6 hours to get home Wednesday. I love the "package" hunt, they just work for me. I just HATE the long drive.

Anyone know a close ranch with the same experiences (NOT CANNED) ?

They must be buying and breeding those Fallow deer from the deer farm in Burnet. WOW, some monsters. i drove by the Wendy Lou Ranch this week. it is fairly close

X 2 for the Wendylou . I have taken a lot of Red hinds there for the freezer and seen large herds of nice animals , and Mike guides a nice operation .

Buzz- Not sure what you consider to be “‘large”, but went on a exotic hunt at C3 Hunting Ranch in Maypearl, that I won at a charity auction, in September. Believe around 700 acres. Great lodge and some nice animals. An easy drive from Frisco.
