Urge2hunt has just been informed of 2 management tule elk hunts that have come available.
5 day hunts beginning Oct 5th and all inclusive on private property in Central Calif with guide, meals and lodging.
These are fair chase hunts and we have been 100% success on all of our tule elk hunts every season so far.

It's because Tule elk only exist in California, and the vast majority of them are on private land. Non-resident draw odds for them are absolutely abismal. Supply and demand. Ricky, note that these are management hunts. A trophy Tule hunt on private will run you north of $25k.

No. They are the smallest bodied elk. Roosevelts are the biggest bodied, but on average have the smallest antlers of the 3. That said they do shoot some giant Rosies and Tule elk year to year. But in general the Rocky Mountain Elk is the largest antlered elk species.
