I just wanted to give a quick review of Adobe Lodge in San Angelo.
i have been there twice and was very pleased both times, last year and then again last week.
A little background, I went to two different outfitters in West Texas in 2016 and 2017, and never saw a deer over two years old, never got the rifle up to make a shot, very dissapointed. They both charged in the $3000-$3500 range for 4 nights.

I searched the internet and found Adobe Lodge, what I liked about the website is they show pictures and stories of all the deer harvested from every hunt, I hunted at the McManus Ranch, both times, it is 3500 acres and they only have three hunts a year for 4 people. The food was extremely good, the lodging is very basic but clean and comfortable. Your not going to shoot a 200 inch deer but a 150-160 is possible. I shot a deer that scored 132 last year and one that scored 147 this year. All the people associated with the ranch are super nice and really take care of you.
If you want an economical free range hunt, I highly recommend the place.
