he is 10 yo, would like to get him out to shoot a pig. Would like to stay close to dallas as possible. Would like to be able to sit in a blind, a day hunt is perfectly fine. TIA.

I've had 2 good trips with my 8 yr old to BoxRoutfitters in cross plains.

BoxR would be a great place to take a 1st time hunter. It's a very controlled atmosphere. I've taken 3 new hunters to Box R. The lodge is simple, but nice. The A/C blows cold...�.

I'll be looking soon for hog hunters for labor day weekend. Option to dove hunt also.

This will be a cheap hunt and include 2 nights lodging and unlimited hogs.

Regular price is $200 per night for a single hunter or $150 per night for multiple hunters.
Special price is $150 per night for 1 hunter or $100 per night for multiple hunters.
