What's the difference in the main or hair on the throat? Some have a lot of it, and it's really white, while others don't seem to have as much? Are they different breeds or just an individual trait that's a little different in each of them?

Transcaspian manes can vary due to the time of year their picture was taken.Summer coat vs Winter coat. Most develop the longer heavier white mains as they mature. That's not to say some younger rams won't..... Then some mature rams develop full white manes 3/4 down the front of neck and bottom remains a dusty lighter brown.
