Monster Whitetail Taken With A Bow- 200"+- South Texas Hunting Outfitters - 11/13/18 02:33 PM

We have been after this deer sting mid October. He frequented one area- a stand along a creek bottom with a lot of thick cover. We set up a bow blind in October, brushed it in really good and decided to wait until this week to hunt him. With the colder weather these deer are starting to check does and move more during the day time. My guide Lee Connally was sitting with our hunter and the deer showed up on the second sit of the hunt. He made a perfect shot and thats all she wrote. The deer scored 231"! No ear tag, no small pen, this was a hunt!

Gee, I feel sorry for the guy. He can hang his bow up now because he'll never be able to top that one. He'll miss all the fun like I have, struggling to get even a doe within bow range & then trying to hit it.
