$500 Weekend Doe & Turkey Hunts - Concho County - 10/08/18 05:51 PM
Would you like to go hunting without committing to a long-term, expensive lease? Or simply have a place to go relax with family or friends and get away from it all?
Well starting October 11th, we are offering weekend (Thursday evening – Sunday morning) deer and turkey hunts on our 1,100 acre ranch in Concho County. Each hunt includes two does, one turkey, blinds with corn feeders, and a furnished hunting camp with lodging.
Property/Hunt Information:
Land: We’ve leased the hunting and grazing on this ranch for over 25 years and have actively managed the deer population for over 10 years. We take great pride in the lease and believe your party would be more than happy with the number and quality of deer and turkey on the place. The ranch is approximately 5 miles east of Paint Rock, TX and borders the Concho river. Approximate travel time from: SA/Austin - 2.5-3 hrs, DFW – 3.5-4 hrs, Houston area 5-6 hrs.
Hunting Lodge: The lodge is a five-year-old wood cabin situated in a cleared area on the ranch. The home has one full bathroom and one large great room which contains a living room area and kitchen. Additionally, the home has two large window units, a covered front porch, two sofas, two blow-up mattresses, a cot, a queen size bed, and a TV which picks up a three local TV channels (CBS affiliates).
Hunting Camp: The camp is situated in front of the home and include a large picnic table, oversized lawn chairs, a fire pit, a smoker, a foldable table, and trash barrel. Please note there are other camps in the clearing related to other pieces of the property, but all camps are spaced far enough away to provide privacy to the group.
A ranch representative will be available during the duration of your stay to answer any questions or provide assistance.
Pricing: All the above is included in the $500 stated price. Bucks can be harvested for an additional fee of $1,500/buck, and since adopting our ranch management program in the 2000s, this ranch has raised some impressive, mature bucks. Please note groups are limited to a maximum of five people as that is the most our lodge can comfortably sleep.
Food: Cooking can be provided for an additional fee. Please contact us for information, if interested.
