Colorado/New Mexico Mule Deer

Colorado/New Mexico Mule Deer - 09/16/18 04:22 PM

I have some really cool options detailed below these details can be for this year or 2019.

2,000 acres of private land, do it yourself hunts. I have a total of 4 land owner vouchers for 2nd season rifle (Oct-20-28). I will spend a few hours with any individual(s) explaining boundaries and hot spots. This hunt will take place near Trinidad, CO. You can camp on the property or stay in town. I feel comfortable in saying, every one gets a deer. $2,500 per person (includes voucher). Awesome deal here!

New Mexico hunts are $4,500 and will include meals, lodging, guide, and care of animal. Tags are over the counter. This is a 5 day hunt. Dates are:

Oct 20-24
Oct 27-31
Nov 21-25 for a youth hunt only (age 10-17). This hunt is during Thanksgiving and during the rut. I will lodge parents at no charge. A monster deer sill be killed during this hunt.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I tried to pull realistic pictures of what I would expect to be normal/average deer for us. We have many deer killed around 200 as well.

Raypo, I and a buddy are interested in your colorado hunts for 2019.Can we purchase over the counter tags or "landowner tag" or do we have to draw in a pool for the? what type of terrain will this take place on? Is it all mountain type hunting over coulee and rolling feid hunting. Are there many roads on the private property? can you give gps coordinates ( we have on X hunting maps, that show everything we would need to look at.if 2019 is full how about2020
Thanks Mark

I don’t have any 2019 spots left and not sure if I’m going to do the DIY hunts in 2020. I will soon though (I prefer to do them guided). The terrain is partially mounains with some fingers dropping into fields/meadows. I will be doing some diy bear hunts for 2019 on the same property. All tags are draw for mule deer and are limited to land owner vouchers or draw. I prefer to keep driving to a minimum as wel will late season elk hunt the property as well along with landowner request. Roads are mostly around fields and in the bottoms. We can discuss options. The property is really close to Aguilar. Thanks

I'd be interested in a guided hunt with voucher for the 2019 season for 1 possibly 2 or 3 if you have the spots.

Tagging for later. I would be interested in a do it yourself hunt (mule deer, elk, or bear) within the next year or two.
