To get to POLOKWANE from the States (Texas) Whats involved as for air fare? Approximate cost.

Do you fly into camp the day before the hunt starts and leave after the fith day? So 5 full days of hunting?

What Taxidermist do you use so I can get an idea of mounts costs and shipping costs to Texas. I'm trying to figure besides the $4900 for the hunt, what the ancillary costs will be.

Quickest way would be to fly from Dallas love to Atlanta on Dleta and then delta flight 200 to Johannesburg. Time of year will determine price. I’ve seen economy as low at $1000. I leave end of April 2019 flying delta comfort round trip is $1700.

Good to ask about the 5 days but hopefully since it says “5 hunting days” you would arrive the day before and leave the day after the 5th day.

I’d guess you’ll be picked up and driven to the lodge from Johannesburg. Will likely have to spend one night in Johannesburg. I recommend Africa sky guest house.

Also budget about $1000 for tips on a trip like this.

Taxidermy will largely depend on what you want done European vs shoulder mounts, hides, ect. And of course if you’re going to have all the work done over there or just dip and pack.

Polokwane is a 45 minute flight from Joberg. We took a Airlink flight on a small little plane and had no issues. We booked the flight through Qatar from DFW all the way to Polokwane.

You will fly from the USA to OR Tambo (Johannesburg International Airport). From here there will be a scheduled SAA (South African Airways flight) to Polokwane - approx 45min flight, where we will await your arrival.

Yes, you will arrive in camp one day before the hunt starts and leave after the fifth day - So 5 full days of hunting is included.

We make use of Field & Stream Taxidermy in Louis Trichardt.

Except for your flights and taxidermy, there will be no additional cost.
