Guy over on FB went a couple years ago and the guides never left the lodge. They drank all afternoon and night long, and then slept in most of the day. He and the other hunter had to sleep in a shed, away from the lodge because of their non stop drinking. They would hunt on their own, and did get two nice bears. It was a nightmare from beginning to end. If you go to Russia, be sure it's with somebody that has a long track record and isn't offering hunts for a ridiculous cheap amount.

Doesn’t every hunting guide in Russia drink all day and all night ?
Heck their streams lakes and tap all run pure vodka.
Vodka in Russian translation means:WATER
Your best off to just hunt bear in the good ol US or at least the North American continent
JMHO!!!!

I agree. Do not come further than the central regions. Because hunting there is not organized. Hunters go to the forest house from their wives and drink there. I invite to my home where I live with my family. Photos in my FB
https://www.facebook.com/kriptopoiskIn the central region, the license costs $ 2,000 (because all hunting farms are private). I have a license for one bear $ 50 (in the Arkhangelsk region in state lands)
if you give me 2000 for one person I'll be happy!!! )))))
