Hog hunt with dogs/knives? looking for.

a While back I saw a place on here that offered hog hunts with the option of using hounds and a knife.

My son and I are looking at a 2 day hunt Jan 1 and 2.

Had a helluva hunt in Edna TX. We hunted tall corn fields but he also does hunts in the brush. I would much rather hunt the corn fields any day. It was AWESOME!

I have a buddy who offers a good hunt. Some of , if not the best dogs in the state. I will on you some info.

Bob and his wife are great hosts and his wife cooks up some amazing food for all the hunters. I believe they post onhere as "theoverbys"

Hey Guy, thanks. it is hunters creek that I was thinking of in east Texas.


My wife and daughter-in-law are going on a mission trip during spring break.
My son and I are trying to coordinate schedules for a trip while they are gone.
We can leave on Sunday at lunch (as soon as I get thru preaching).
And can hunt Monday and Tuesday, drive home Tuesday night.
He has a school orientation Wednesday AM, so needs to be home as early as possible Tuesday night.

We LOVE Hunters Creek Ranch! You can try and give Bob a call but trying to get Jan 1-2 might be tough. This place books up fast! And I am pretty sure they may be booked for that time period already..but give him a call and find out. Maybe he can get you in there or at least the free range area!
