**INCREDIBLE SOUTH TEXAS DUCK HUNTS**

Feathers & Sheds Unlimited will get you into the waterfowl action! We hunt in Baffin Bay and the Laguna Madre, as well as private properties with fresh water and flooded timber. We have access to hunt an exciting variety of waterfowl species. Large numbers of Pintails, Buffleheads, Scaup, Wigeons, and Mottled ducks are common sights on our hunts. The Laguna is also hailed as the wintering grounds for over 80 percent of the world's Redhead population. Our guides have spent countless hours on the water, scouting and bird watching, diligently preparing for each upcoming season. Blinds are constructed, maintained, and situated in key locations where ducks naturally hold. In many areas, decoys are not even necessary; but we sling a few out just for fun! On a duck hunting trip with FSU Outdoors, you can expect the best equipment and knowledgeable guides.
We supply water, softdrinks, and snacks for every hunter throughout the duration of the hunt. Also provided is a complimentary bird cleaning service where your birds are cleaned, breasted, and packed with one identifying wing attached for trouble free transport home. Lodging and meals are available. If lodging with us, be sure to bring along your rod and reel. There will be plenty of time to fish from the shore in the bay or at one of our freshwater ponds.

Rates:
Opening Weekend……….....$200 per hunter, per day (minimum 2 hunters)
Opening After Split……..$200 per hunter, per day (minimum 2 hunters)
Remaining Season………....$175 per hunter, per day (minimum 2 hunters)

We also offer a cast and blast package that consists of a morning duck hunt and an afternoon fishing trip on Baffin Bay.

Two Anglers……….......$525 per day
Additional Anglers...$ 75 (up to 5 anglers total)
Rod & Reel Rental....$ 15 per angler, per day

We started scouting for teal this week and were happy to see a few groups of big ducks already mixed in. Pintails, mottles, and shovelers are already hanging around on some of our lakes.

Waterfowl action has been fast and furious with the onset of this cold weather! We are excited to see the large numbers of birds that have migrated in. The season breaks for the split on Nov. 30. Contact us now to book a hunt before the break and get in on the action we are having!

We were having some outstanding hunts just before the split. One hunter harvested his first banded bird, a pintail drake! This duck was banded in North Dakota in 2011. Certainly a trophy!

Season fires back up this weekend in South Texas. We have been scouting daily and are really liking what we are seeing! There are still some available dates for both this month and January.
