African Safari -$1500 - 01/07/13 11:56 PM

I am new here, but have been lurking for a while. I just started repping a game ranch in South Africa and thought I would pass along a special for 2013. This is a 5 day hunt for $1500. This deal is all inclusive: trophy fees for 3 animals, meals, beer and wine, pick up and drop off from Johannesberg, and guide, tracking, and skinning services. The animals included are a blue wildebeest, impala, and a warthog, plus all the jackals you can shoot. Other animals can be added for the regular trophy price and extra days can also be added for an extra fee. I hunted this ranch in November and they are a great operation. It is not a 5 star lodge, but offer comfortable accommodations on an 8,000 acre ranch. If anybody is interested, email me at bemmons@centurylink.net. Happy Hunting, Brandon

WOW that's crazy, so no daily fees and no 14% VAT or anything on this? What Ranch is this?

The daily rates are included in the package price and since the trophy fees make up most of the price there is no VAT. It sounds like too good of a deal to be true, but I hunted with these guys in November and there are no hidden cost. We even spent one afternoon shooting guinea and francolin at no cost. And several night drives hunting predators for free. I have been to Africa 4 other times and this was the first time the outfitter took me out at night, it was a blast. As mentioned, this is not a fancy outfit, just a down home hunting ranch at affordable prices. The night hunts were jokingly referred to as a redneck safari: spotlights and a cooler of beer. http://www.koedoeberg.co.za

I was just notified that the outfitter is also offering some good deals on other plains game species. For $2000, you can hunt either a kudu or waterbuck plus a warthog. This special is also all inclusive for 5 days of hunting.
