Deerview Windows - Poor Customer Service! - 09/15/20 04:26 PM

Can’t get these guys to pickup the phone or return an email. Our windows were supposed to be shipped a few weeks ago and unable to get any type of update. I’m about pull my order!!! realmad

Anybody have similar experience with this company or maybe know what’s going on?

Last time I ordered some, they took longer than they stated to ship. They always seem to be behind, however I have always been able to talk to someone and they made right with the order when I needed it.

He is rarely on here anymore.

I have asked around at the local home improvement places, some can make just about any window that you can think of. Probably some that you haven't even thought of. Expect to pay a little more, but for 4 windows, $10 is only $40.

This is pretty much business as usual for them. Product is good but service is horrible. As busy as they are you’d think they could hire someone to answer the phone.

Other options:

https://www.dickinsonfeed.com/
https://maxxedoutdoors.com/

Two good options and their customer service seems to be more on par with expectations.

There's been numerous, similar threads on here about their poor customer service. Capitalism will weed them out.

Really????? How do you run a business this way. Talk about unacceptable and somebody that l will never buy from ever again. I don’t care how good their product is. This guy has 24 hours to change my mind and after that it’s calling the credit card company

Update - Tony called me this morning and confirmed the order is now being shipped. I may have been a bit harsh yesterday and will now let the quality of the product determine where my future business goes from here on out. It’s one day shipping so getting it right in time before our preseason work weekend

I did okay with Deer View. A little slow but they got it done, They even sent me a free piece of glass to replace one that UPS broke. Hate to hear they may be going down hill.
The last time I was at McCoys I saw some deer blind size windows on a cart, has anyone used them? Lotto, is that what you were referring to?

Or order them from Buckstop in Alvarado or Hico.. They keep every single one of their windows, in stock, year around....

I posted a thread about this last year.......started out doing business with them with no issue......went downhill from there.....I recommend Dickinson Feed, they are always stocked and their service/shipping is outstanding.......

I bought 2 12x24 and 2 12x36 from McCoys, they are pretty good and priced reasonably. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Here is the McCoy's Lumber search.

Not sure but Lowes and Home Depot used to carry replacement aluminum window parts. A slider needs the track, a groove extruded aluminum, the glass frame parts, it is just a U channel, put together with snap clips. You can also find parts at a place called Bilt Best Windows and Huntsport.com The latter 2, you have to buy a lot more than you need, if helps to know what you are about ti do. I was lucky, a guy I knew used to work for a storm window installer. He also had a local supplier, unfortunately I no longer have access to either.

They where slow when I ordered mine, maybe 6 years ago. I ended up going by their shop in Burleson after a few non answered calls Folks where nice and it seemed busy, not sure why communication was so tough back then though.
