Flat sheet metal - 03/22/18 05:30 AM
Where can I get large pieces (4x8 or bigger) of flat sheet metal (26ga-29ga) like they use on blinds?

Google "metal supply", don't know where you live, but there are several in Ft. Worth or if you know an A/C contrator/repair, ask them where they get theirs.
That would sure be some flimsy-azz sheets?

I bought some from Mueller last yr but they were only 42" wide and 10' long from what I remember.... They are the flat sheets they make trim with and they were in the $50-60 range.

Ideal Steel is in S. La.
Port Buildings as well.
MBCI, McElroy, Berridge, Metal Depots, Mueller etc.
There is not a shortage in the Houston area if you’re passing through.
Typically...26 gauge is 42-3/4” sheets. 24 gauge would be 48-3/8” sheets. Length wouldn’t matter as they are all ran from a coil.

The Metal Mart stores have it.
Prime building comps rolls their own U, R panel and trim(stephenville). Sweetwater is another one. Central states rolls their own, think they still has a plant in Ennis, Mueller sometimes has it depending on location
