Mounting a feeder on my 4 wheeler

I thought someone might be interested in how I mounted a spreader on my wheeler. These are sway bar bushings and come in various sizes.

Thanks a lot! Now I have another project to do!

Seriously, this is a good looking setup. I like the idea of being able to hit a small area quickly. Yanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks for the compliments. This is my third year using this setup and I haven’t found anything I would change. My wheeler needed two different sizes.

Here is a link to make things easier.

How often are you at your lease to use this setup?

I am only able to get to my lease every other weekend during deer season. I hunt a roadway at the end of the ranch with a feeder 200 yards to the north which I have to walk by to get to my blind and another feeder to the South about 130 yards away and the end of the road is 230 yards before it turns. I typically carry a bag of corn between my 2 feeders and my blind spreading out corn. I always see a lot more deer when I do this. I bought the road feeder with the intention of using it when I am down there to spread corn without having to lug around a 50lb bag of corn. My only hesitation was being I am only down there every other weekend would the atv do more harm than good spreading in the morning and evening before each hunt.

“would the atv do more harm than good spreading in the morning and evening before each hunt?”
No, the wheeler is much better than hand spreading corn. No scent, in and out quickly and the deer respond to the “corn wheeler” rapidly. It is not unusual to have deer feeding on the spread corn by the time I get into my blind. I might as well turn my regular feeders off when I start spreading corn with the wheeler as the last thing they touch is the corn under the feeders. I do not put out too much corn, just “blip” the feeder every two or three wheeler lengths to encourage plenty of movement. I also “blip” the feeder anytime I see a deer while riding (the wheeler) so the deer associate it and corn. I also park at the ladder to my blind.
