is 2" Sch 40 heavy enough for barb wire feeder fence corners - plus any helpful hints on fences - 11/18/14 05:03 PM
Main question - will 2" (2 3/8" OD) Schedule 40 pipe work for corners (for feeder fences) w/o additional bracing. Tried T's, and even with anchors they bent too much.
Second Question - any helpful hints to safe time and money on feeder and food plot fences.
---
Ok, back story. My current temporary fences are toast. Survey crew mulched the food plot fence (ripping out all the wires), and a tree fell on my feeder fence (which was impossible to tighten anyway - so hardly worked). Planning major repair to existing fences and adding several new pens and food plots. Thinking of getting a pneumatic T-post driver (mansaver), and trying to adapt it to drive a few 2" Schedule 40 pipes for the feeder fence corners (unbraced). I am in the process of trying to get my tractor running again - but need a fence before I plant anyway.
