Yea- had to use them multiple times for vehicle extractions and getting clothes off victims. I prefer the version with a larger handle. But for seat belts and anything near skin I think a pair of North American Rescue Trauma shears is the way to go.

They (the benchmades) also work well for gutting animals if you are inclined.
