Size SD card for Moultrie 55IR game camera???

What size SC card are yall running in the 55IR moultrie? Just picked one up here on the forum and plan on getting an SD card tomorrow. Says it can handle up to 16 GB. Coach

Depends how much activity you expect, what settings you are using, if you are using video or still shots, if you are using the multi shot function....and on and on.

With all that said, I use either a 2 or 4 GB. A 2G holds over 1500 pics and I pull the cards every two weeks. The 4 is more than enough. If you want video go with the 16.

Thanks. I forgot about the video stuff. Just using it for still pics right now. Gonna pick up a 2GB today and then a larger one later on down the road.

Depends on how often you check it, I use 2gb cards in my four cameras and have never gotten close to filling them. However I don't use video

2GB is the largest my will us check your camera

Ended up getting 2- 2GB cards. Figured I wouldn't leave them out there longer than a week or 2 before checking it and my lease is less than 15min from my drive way.
