Bought some ammo from sgammo the other day and they charged tax now I understand Texas is collecting tax on out of state sales. Sux

Was just a matter of time. But yea, that stinks!

Necessary though. I don't like big govt but I do like roads, schools, etc. Not saying I like it, just saying the state deserves it.

It will also drive you to shop locally. I found bulk ammo locally that was within $10 of the online price with taxes.

I read it took effect on the 1st of Oct. Was looking on gunbroker just now and those vendors are showing to collect tax on same state sales.

I got an email from EuroOptic saying Texas and some other state they would now be collecting tax in.
Now will have to ship my large ticket items to my Dad.
