Nosler 60 gr Partitions?

Tried to buy some, with no luck. Every seller is out of stock. I guess they make them in seasonal batches, and it isn’t time to make them. Maybe later...

They are hard to find. Nosler keeps pumping out those 64 Grain Bonded bullets or no one is buying them. They are always in stock.

How many you lookin fer, 603?

Hope they are not getting hard to find I have always been able to walk into the nearest cabelas and buy them or order them.

Now you got me wondering and I’m going to have to take inventory.

RiverRider, i’m not completely out of Partitions, so there’s no big rush to restock. It just recently occurred to me that I could use another 50 for the next time I reload. In a pinch I could always switch over to the 65 gr Sierras, but the joy of the Partitions is that they print exactly where the 40 gr Ballistic Tips do at 100 yards, whereas the 65 gr Sierras don’t. I suppose i’ll just backorder them.

I could move over to the 64 gr BSB, I suppose, but I have no good load data with that bullet and this barrel. I do have half a box of them. And I wonder how they would perform on pigs, compared to the Partition. I think I’ll ask the forum.

One of the forum guys pm’d me and has two boxes. I’ll buy them, assuming his price isn’t crazy.

I did find some on the Internet, but they wanted about twice what the bullets retail for. I sure don’t need them that bad. It’s not like i’m drooling with need. And I have some 65 gr Sierra’s loaded, but they don’t print where the 40 gr BTs do, so i’d rather have the Partitions. And I could always work up loads for the 64 gr BSBs, but i’ll just probably stick with the Partitions.

Thanks to Cast, and to a small buy, i’m all stocked up. A side benefit was meeting up with Cast at 407BBQ, and finding out how good their food was. Yum!
