Recommended reading for instinctive shooting?

I had a lot of fun with this today but let me tell you, I got a lot of work to do. My best groups today were maybe 8” for 5 arrows at 20 yards. Mostly centered around the bullseye but like as not I would throw one completely off target every 10 shots or so.

As soon as I think I have it figured out, I would slip up somewhere and now I am grouping in a new spot a foot away from what I’m aiming at lol. I’m so lost.

What are a couple of good books to read on the subject, for a guy just starting out?

Learn how to gap or use a fixed crawl. You'll be better off.

Have to buy used online but its a great book

Go back to 10 yds and get that down.
Might be too heavy on draw weight too. That will change when you get your shooting muscles in shape.

Do some research on the way you want to shoot. You basically have 2 major categories....instinctive or gap. Either one depends on solid shooting form and matched bows/arrows. I think the best shooters in the world past and present are gappers, but if you're going to limit shots at 30 yards and under instinctive, especially for hunting is great also.
