Cam servings - 08/19/22 11:57 AM

I noticed yesterday both my serving on my cams looks like this. The nearest bow shop from me is an hourish away so was wondering if I should be able to continue to shoot it or try to get it fixed immediately. Thanks guys

I have seen many shot that way, as long as the bow is tuned well and the string fully tracks in the cam correctly very little damage done with some shooting.

I would go ahead and get it corrected soon though. When you get it reserved make sure they check string and cable length as when you see this string and cables have usually stretched which most will over time and shooting.

With deer season approaching quickly I would get it fixed now. With bad luck at all, it goes south right about bow season and the bow tech will be 3 weeks out to fix it dont wait til it breaks. That my 2 cents.

BigDave makes a good point, service will be quicker now than later.

60X is who I like for a larger bowstring supplier, though there are lots out there. Their custom strings are definitely an upgrade to the factory strings.
https://www.60xcustomstrings.com usually fast service in shipping the strings.

When replacing compound strings replace the cables as well at the same time with matching set.

Just to see if I am recognizing the bow is it a Diamond SB-1?

Always recommended to do the string and the cable at the same time. My z7 is in the shop as we speak.

Ok thanks guys we are going to scheels tomorrow Im probably gonna take it and see what they can do with it. Ive never replaced cams or strings on a bow before and yes I believe its a sb-1 I bought it awhile back and used it for a couple seasons and now have a place in grayson county so got it out this year after it sat for two years.
