Just a little rant

Just a little rant - 10/13/21 02:47 PM

Buying broadheads for traditional bows has become a pain in the butt. I know we are a small part of the crowd but I can buy 100 grain all types of broadheads all day long on line and in the pro shop. But try buying a decently priced 150 or 175 grain CoC head and everything is sold out, no back orders being taken.
I'm fixin ta put some insert weights in, screw in some Rage heads and kill some animals in a way the purists will have me excommunicated for if it doesn't clear up soon.

Yup I use Axis arrows with the 75gr brass insert for a reason, that gives me 200gr up front with 125gr heads which are much easier to find.

There is a shop close to me that usually has up to 200gr heads, will check there and see what they have.

Shop down the street has plenty of 150gr Stingers on the rack and several packs of DRT that are the 150s and come with 25gr weight collar to get to 175. All are 3 packs with price of 39.99 on them.

Never even tried to find the heavier heads just cut ahead of the line and have always used brass insert with 125's. I have time and lathe so I made my own 100 grain inserts.

IDK what your price range is but as previously stated they have 15/175 grain heads as well as a 200/225 grain head. Best part is they're lifetime guaranteed. up

Thanx but they are not a wide enough cut for me.
