Bow recommendations

I’m currently shooting a PSE Stinger X
29” draw length at 15 5’9
Since October my draw length has got 2 inches longer and I was wondering if I should wait until next season to look at bows with the possibility of my draw length increasing? I’m honestly not sure if I am going to do anymore growing but I don’t want to purchase a bow and outgrow it within a year, Any recommendations?

several of the newer bows allow you to adjust draw length with an added cam, which is a very inexpensive part. I bought the new mathews V3 last week and it was a 29" draw off the shelf, adjusted to 30.5 to fit me. With that said, your PSE is a good bow and you might be disappointed if you spend a bunch of money on a new setup and it doesnt do anything that your old setup wasnt capable of...

You have another inch of draw length on your stinger that is an easy adjustment. You gain an inch of draw lenth for about every 2.5 inches of wingspan increase.

New bow or not now is up to you. Just know you can grow some and the Stinger still fit

Thank you guys, I think I’ll wait until I max this bow out length wise if I do. I’m looking for a bow with smoother draw and has more forgiveness. When shooting my dads Hoyt with a 65lb draw it seems noticeably smoother and an easier draw cycle compared to my 60lb draw.

Would the Hoyt Torrex xt be a good bow to upgrade to or is it best to save up more and look for a higher end bow?

Best way to pick a bow is try a bunch of them you like and let the bow tell you.

Anyone have any experience with the Elite Remedy?

^^^^^^ This! First time I bought a bow I went to Cinnamon Creek the moment they opened on a weekday morning. Told them I was an amateur and new nothing about Bow Hunting but I wanted to get into it. I already had a list of about 6-7 bows I wanted to shoot and they added another 2-3 to my list. I shot bows for about 2 hours, left for lunch and came back and shot for another hour.. My shoulder was dead, but the bow picked me I didn’t simply pick it.

And at 15, you aren’t even close to being down growing. Maximize what you have first, and then upgrade later.

I agree every bow fits every person differently. Basically personal preference !

No experience with the Remedy but the upper end elites are some of the better bows around IMO. I have worked on most brands and if I were to spend a thousand or more on a bow it would most likely be an Elite or APA, but would still shoot several others as well before forking over the $.

if you want to upgrade things like rest, sight, stabilizer... you can then switch them over to our new bow when you get it. that is an easy thing for a shop to do. that is if ou haven't dne that already.
