Anyone ever enter their trophies into the official Texas Bowhunting and Bowfishing Records? You can enter pretty much anything you shoot in TX. I thought it might be funny so I entered a muley doe I shot. Turned out to be #2 in the state. LOL.

I never seen that before, but was looking at the records and it turns out a friend of mine has the cougar record. He had never mentioned it, so i will have to get the story from him next time i see him.
Also congrats on your mule deer!

It’s the official state records system for bowhunted trophies. If you enter an animal in the same year you shoot it, the LSBA has a banquet where they award you a little plaque the following year (in June). It’s pretty cool. You can enter pretty much any animal you shoot in TX. If you find something they don’t have, talk to your LSBA rep and they can vote to add the category.
