What do you use to attach your harness to the tree. Providing a link would be awesome.

I use the harness and lanyard that came with my climbing stand. I have safety harnesses i use for work but the way the hunting lanyard attaches to the trees is not the same as the ones i use for work.

Either the tree strap that comes with the harness or safety line like this. https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/779218/millennium-safe-link-treestand-climbing-rope-35?utm_medium=shopping&utm_source=connexity&utm_campaign=Hunting+-+Treestands+%26+Accessories&utm_content=779218

I have screwed a 1/2" eye bolt into two trees that I wear my harness in.

I have the one that comes with the Summit stand, I just cant get it to cinch down around the tree in a way that makes me feel comfortable.

Chris, I like your idea, but I bought the Climber so I could hit any tree I want, and I might do that on a couple of trees.
