Dialed In - 09/28/15 01:23 AM

My new RPM 360 just showed up last week. Got her rigged up and ready to go. I only have 30 yards in the back yard so I opened up the garage and shot through it from the street in front of my house. I got a couple weird looks from my yuppie neighbors and my wife made me quit. Ill see what she can do at 60-80 yards this week but 10-50 its lights out with this bow.

I got the same new bow this summer. I haven't had a chance to really tune it in at long ranges yet. Never thought of shooting through my garage though. I live about a block from the police station and they might not find it all that amusing as I would.

My neighbors have become accustom to my antics. I can push 40 yards at best at my house but 30 is standard range for me....if I stand across street from house on school ground sidewalk. Had LEO make corner right as I was about to draw, I waited he slowed but didn't stop or question me so must be good to go! banana

No harm no foul. Good to be in a place like that. Here it's an ordinance violation. I can shoot to 54 yards in the back yard and the privacy fence conceals me. However I make sure I keep up with a large back stop for safety. Good hunting with it. Should work well for you.

OMG this is awesome. I have 30 yards in my back yard as well but my wife will not let me shoot back there.. She says one day I am going to trip while I am at full draw and shoot someone. I tried to tell her I do't walk while I shoot hahahaha I also don't draw with my bow facing up in the air.. I only draw while at the target. and I have two 4 foot x 8 foot 1/2 plywood boards back to back as back stops so 1" thick total, and my wooden fence. If the arrow makes it through all of that it would be just barley.

Sometimes I sneak out in the backyard while she is not home and set everything up and shoot. Then take it all down byt the time she gets home.. Like a scared little kid sneaking candy! But I would not be without her hehe

Dude you need some scene control! I stand at the back fence and shoot toward the brick house. A little incentive not to miss the block.

I have 50 in my yard across the pool but rarely shoot it anymore. I was practicing my spear on a dead hog off my roof once and the neighbors rarely even glance my way anymore.

Could be worse I shoot thru the living room into my back yard for more yards. Drives my girl nuts lol she will be trying to watch tv and I'm flinging arrows blocking her view at least I'm not the only one. . Hey I have a massive compost heap for a back stop on the back of my garden though as well as privacy fence beyond that. She keeps asking me what I'm going to do when I stick a narrow in our back door I just tell her patch it but I'm not gonna miss haha.

Man some of you guys are freaking me out. I have 200' or more to shoot in my backyard, but both my kids are always in the house and are told to stay in the house until I'm done. Shoot safe

Agreed. No/poor backstops and shooting past blind corners are just accidents waiting to happen. Hope everyone is ready for the season and scores a big one.
