Shot a spike last night. Hopefully, the buck that comes to that stand will show up this AM. Wish me luck, and fingers crossed.

Just got out from a mid day sit. Heard some grunts and thank The Lord His sun came out. Probably, God willing, gonna kill a buck this evening at a different blind. Pics of the spike after I get back to Houston!!

Yessir it was me. Only my dad and I are hunting this time and he just recovered from the flu so he can't shoot for crap lol.

Wind is horrible!! Going from back to front. It made us "lose" a bunch of deer early morning. Heard fawn bleats, doe bleats, and some grunts a few min ago.

Sittin till 10, then gonna pack out, pack up, and head home

Leaving the ranch now. Great place, great guy, good deer.

Where are the pics of the spike? Did you really shoot it with a bow? What kind of broadheads? What gives?

No pics. In Dallas, didn't bring cameras with. Yes I did shoot it with my Mission Menace(28"/56lb) @ 25.8 yd.
finally got to use my Rage 40KEs. Not much blood, but that's cuz we didn't really look for and the shot was a high double lung, So it bled within. Found him right about 100yd away.
