JL Bar ranch mile range

Wife is taking me to a ranch this week for my birthday. I looked it up and they have a mile longe range. Anyone ever shot there? I’m gonna sneak a few rifles in the truck.

It seems shooting isn't included in the room rate. I wonder how much extra they charge.

So far this isn’t going well guys. Here 4 nights and 5 days. Not a single opening. Heck I haven’t even seen the long range. It might be a mythical place. Here 2 more days, we will see

I have to be honest, I never even got to see the range. It was always full??. I will report back with an I depth report later. I feel this place could be a wonder venue for many shooting sports clubs. However, they have many kinks to work out. I am in communication with their owner and we will see where it goes from there.

Nope, I was just commenting/ quoting their website and stating they were short 260 yards on the description of the mile long range.

JL bar was a disappointment. I don’t want to slander anyone, so I will leave it at that. But if you want to shoot at the facility consider renting out the entire complex for you and your friends.

Did the owner not provide any type of reasonable resolution to your disappointing trip?

We had a discussion and a reason was given. I cannot say anything negative about the range because I wasn’t able to see it. It’s $750 a half day. I tried every day of my trip. I can advise please make preparations long in advance and I recommend via email and print.

Holy goodness - $750 for a half day? I wouldn't pay that for a year-long membership

Hell no, get a membership to Red Castle in Tulsa. Everything from machine gun ranges to a 1,000 yard range. Super nice place,,
