contact Jackson Arms, if they are open. They have a gunsmith who is very familiar working on fine, old firearms. I may have his card somewhere

I believe the first person I’d contact would be our very own TDK.

If you're in denton my vote is Larry Pockrus

Does anyone have the skinny on Larry Pockrus? I recently read on THF that he went blind and has retired. He has done some trigger work, shortened a couple of stocks and installed a couple of grind to fit recoil pads for me. I was very satisfied with his work and his rates were excellent.
