As much as I like my g2c, if it’s in the budget, the 365 is a better pistol in just about all facets. Good call. I’m eyeballing a 365xl with Romeo zero myself. Or a glock 19, or a HK Vp9sk. So many choices, so little money.

Just picked up the P365SAS...great shooter for a CC gun.

I sold my G19 this weekend and bought a 365. I like it. A lot.

While I'm not a huge fan of striker fired guns in general, the little 365 that I traded into shoots remarkably well and carries very discreetly. It's not my EDC, but it's a keeper.

I was, but now am pretty much out on that optic. There just seems to be some reliability issues and perhaps polymer isn't the answer to everything. The upcoming Holosun 507K looks to hold a lot of promise. I have a 507c-gr that has exceeded my expectations. If the 507K is of similar quality, a 365xl and that dot will be bought.

As for the p365 original, I've had a Gen2 built 05/2018. It has been flawless for over 500 rounds. I carried it daily up until about a month ago, and would not hesitate to carry it again.

Nice choice indeed.

When you get tired of it in a week or so call me first.😁

I know it’s lipstick on a pig, but I might have my g2c cut for an optic and go with the 507k. I was trying to talk my self out of that, but I’ll know after a couple more rounds with the g2c if I really want to keep it for edc. And that’ll be cheaper than buying an optics cut carry gun.

We’ve all been around here long enough to see right through that plan!

I think I'll get the 365 XL, wish it came in the thumb safety

Love the 365...I have both the 365 and the 365XL. The XL definitely feels better in the hand with the beavertail and slightly longer grip, but the 365 with 12 round mag is hard to beat.

Good choice. They are fine shooting little guns. Just bought two of them for Christmas. One for me, and one for my oldest Son since he's getting his LTC.

The Sig P210 Carry at Shot Show interests me.

I have a West German P6 and West German P226 that I really like.

It's tough to go wrong with a sig.

Re: pistol decision - 02/14/20 05:30 PM

I love my the size of my XL slide on a 365 frame. But to be honest the trigger still leaves a lot to be desired. I still like the trigger on my G43 better (stock, but everything has been polished). I really need to break the 365 down and polish everything. I pulled the fire control housing out of the frame with the intention of breaking it down and polishing everything, looked at the unit for a few min, and came to the conclusion “this ant no glock” and I was going to have to do some research before I completely stripped the gun down. Still haven’t gotten to it, but when I do, I will let you all know how much of a difference the polishing makes. Hopefully a lot.
