Weatherby Mark V Fibermark

I have the chance to purchase one these in 257Wby with a leupold on it. Not sure exactly which leupold yet.
The gun is in excellent shape. Shot minimally.
What would approx value be on this? Im not worried about the scope

Forgot to mention I purchased brand new my .240 Weatherby from a good friend for $1000.00.

I have it bought for $1000. Need to see scope

Have choice of 24" or 26" barrel.
I may buy both of them.

I'd stay with the 26" if I could only have one.

in that caliber you need a 26" barrel.
