Where is a great place to buy a higher end Sporting gun, close by? Looking at a Blaser F-3

Re: Besides Robert Paxton - 06/26/18 01:23 PM

Blaser is not higher end it’s about the top. Lol. At least in my book short of a true custom.

There’s a guy on the campfire that’s on the Blaser pro team. I bought a gun from him. Nice guy. I bet he can hook you up with the info you need if not a better deal all together.

Buzz,

if you are just looking in general for a fancy shotgun:

http://www.champlinarms.com/default.aspx?tabid=30

Also, look at gunsinternational.com, which is like gunbroker but tends to be the place for the fancy guns more so than gunbroker.

The prices with most dealers on gunsinternational are very negotiable.

I know you won't because you never listen to me but this is the deal:

https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/shooterspagetxforums/blazer-f3-sporting-32-inch-t16678.html

Attempt to find a used one at a decent deal.

Blaser F3 is not at the top of shotguns...Perazzi and Kreigoff would be higher than Blaser...but no doubt it's up there.

Meh, Perazzi and Kreighoff dont even come close to high end.

Check with Fossil Pointe, they are a Blaser dealer.

I can't afford that stuff, I shoot a Caesar Gureini.

TDK - I'm talking production guns not a beautiful piece of work like you make. wink

Echols doesn’t make shotguns. He’s phenomenal, but there are numerous craftsman who equal or surpass him. Peter V Nelson(retired), Peter Hofer, Dorleac, and the duo Hartmann & Weiss come to mind.

Re: Besides Robert Paxton - 06/27/18 02:18 PM

Well, I got my 725 Sporting and Benelli SBE III with me heading to see Robert Paxton. I will have to sell or trade both to afford the Blaser.

I'll report my findings this afternoon for those WGAS

Re: Besides Robert Paxton - 06/27/18 03:07 PM

There goes the 2 rounds of sporting this afternoon, new gun = learning curve

Can I at least fondle it if you bring it to the league shoot?
Posted By: Buzzsaw

Re: Besides Robert Paxton - 06/27/18 07:27 PM

I just got back. What a great guy Robert is. But alas after the numbers were crunched and I found out he doesn't take trades unless they are something he deals in, I got dealt out.

I May have some ideas but for now I will be sweating my nuggets off with the Benelli...

I'd have to sell about every gun I own confused2
