Couple hundred in mods, and it'll prolly be pretty good.

Solid rifle for the money. Dad has that same one and it’s been great for 3 years.

And you are limited. Not all hand guards fit on it. It has some different size parts than say dpms pattern

Surely someone makes a hand gaurd that replaces the 2 piece plastic. And I would think the barrel O.D. is .750", for an adjustable gad block, no?

Gas block is 750 to the best of my knowledge. If you have something that retains the current barrel nut it’s fine, but if you get a hand guard that has a different barrel nut it may not fit.

Also have seen some people say non psa barrel could have issues

Mods I was talking about are; hand guard, gas block, trigger spring kit. Someone might want to cut it down to 16", thread and crown. Bout it.

Handguard for them are not hard to find. Dad bought his handguard from a gun show, the vendor had 10 or 12 that would fit it. .750 for the gas block, 5/8x24 thread, everything else is basic AR15 parts.

DPMS (LR-308) free float handguard, the Armalite style will not work. Same for barrels and upper and lower receivers.

My understanding was that the PSA uppers will not fit on a AR-10 or LR308 lower.

My CMMG supper will not fit a PSA lower, it also will not fit a Rock River lower. Ar10 and AR308 doesn’t fit the same mold like the AR15 does. However, parts are still interchangeable
