Set a worst with an old rig

Set a worst with an old rig - 05/26/18 11:25 PM

You guys ever have a day when you can’t shoot worth a flip? A couple of days ago I was awful. So bad, in fact, that I thought maybe I had scope problems. Shot today and all is good. Go figure...

Yep, same with golf or shooting a bow. Some days...best thing you can do is put it down and enjoy an adult beverage.

Even the pros have bad days. As my buddy Paul says, that's when you put up the rifle and head to the pub.

I will always look a screw tightness, and consider round count since the last cleaning. This, of course, is within the calm setting of my range.

Some days in competition, I cannot figure out what is wrong. Thought I showed up squared away, and have trouble. Often, the next day, I rock the house.

To quote Mattis...

Unless you're a midget like Dammit Kyle. Then the most important six inches are your legs.

It's not my fault that when Dammit Kyle is alone in the barn with the sheep he has to stand on a 5-gallon bucket to f.....nevermind.

back I almost rebarreled one of my Creeds after 2 bad range trips in a row. And I was ready to throw my first precision rig off a cliff when it wasn't shooting right. I found the problems with both of them and they started shooting good again.
