Maybe a stupid question, but after 2-3 shots, why wouldn't he have corrected his POA to try to hit the 10-ring?

He saw he was on his way to a World Record group, duh.

Depends on the game being played. Many matches with rifles it is the size of the group not so much where the group is on the target

Very impressive shooting with dare I say it (a wood stocked rifle). As good as that group is I bet the owner of the rifle doesn't call it a .04MOA rifle because of one group.

That is the 10 ring...he missed the X ring which is nothing more than a Tie breaker in 600y benchrest. They also measure score and group size so there is two winners. FYI - he won both that day if I remember correctly.

I mean, I think Judd needs a new goal now...
