Nikon P-308 on A10 - 02/24/18 04:54 AM

Anyone have experience with the P-308 on an A10 shooting 308? aim

No experience with the 308 version, but I’ve had the p223 for years and it’s been a solid scope that has held zero through 1000+ rounds. I think they run fine for a budget scope.

If you confirm what distances the bed reticle translates to with your setup, they are a decent option. There are better scopes out there for the money I think, but if you already bought it, it will work fine.

Have not bought yet. What others in the price range would you suggest? I have a P-223 that has been good for what I use it for.

I would consider one of the options on this page before the P308.

You're underscoped with the P308 on an A10. On an AR-10, it's just fine.

I just wish I had any experience with an A10. I do believe their sighting systems are a bit more sophisticated than the scope you’ve mentioned.

At the $250 range id look at Athlon, Burris or Vortex probably. But to be honest with you, when I posted that, I thought they were closer to $350.

Also I was looking to cut cost where I can. The ammo bill for an A10 really eats into your lunch money. food
