AICS Magazine in Tikka 270 Wood Stock

Have had several questions lately about how our long action AICS Bottom Metal fits in Tikka factory wood stock....

In 5 minutes, I breathed some new life into this Tikka T3 Hunter .270 by installing our DBM to run 145gr ELD-x at max OAL. Only requires filing 1/8-1/4” from front pillar platform. Bottom metal drops right in and magazine fits perfectly with no slop and no modification of lever length.

Ha! I guess the crap you are referring to is the Mil-reticle/MOA-turret scope. Because you and i both know... that there bottom metal is "slick as --- on a gold tooth"

can this replace a short action DBM and allow for a long action?

Our DBM is compatible with 3.715” AICS magazines and will fit stocks inletted for factory bottom metal. For short action calibers, the rifle's bolt stop will need to be swapped out from the factory "short action" to a "long action". Bolt stops are available from retailers such as Brownells or Sinclair and aftermarket suppliers such as Mountain Tactical or Dallas Rifle.

I have a Tikka 223 Varmint model with factory stock. Do you have a bottom metal for this 223 rifle where I can upgrade to a better magazine?

I wish. At present, all we have in production is long Action DBM.
